Small Business Owner Lowcountry Raised

Kristy Gore was raised in Hanahan, where she attended schools in Hanahan. She went on to graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Trident Technical College. Kristy raised her two sons in Berkeley County.
She served the people of Charleston and Berkeley County in public service for over 20 years, working for local law enforcement agencies and state agencies, where she advanced to the role of Investigator. Kristy has experience in the judicial process as a Deputy in the Courts and a Criminal Defense Investigator.
Kristy serves on the Berkeley County Planning and Zoning Commission. She is also actively involved in non-profits dedicated to helping those with drug and alcohol addictions, as well as assisting women recovering from sex trafficking.
Kristy has been active in Republican Party politics since 2012, serving in roles in both the Berkeley County Republican Party, as President of the Berkeley County Republican Women’s Club, and as the South Carolina Federation of Republican Women District 1 Director.
